I’m just about ready to buy my second set of tires at 70,000 miles; the first set lasted 20,000 miles and the second set was better at 50,000 miles. I’ve given up on Goodyear and am leaning towards either Michelin or Firestone.
However, while I was getting my tires balanced last weekend, another Vette owner said that there was an alternate set of alignment specifications from Chevrolet specifically for highway driving that will alleviate the inside wear on the tires, particularly the front. Has anyone heard of this spec and, if so, what are the specifications (and will the dealer know about it)?
