I have an 86 I drive to work in the dark everyday and my lights (interior and exterior) are constantly flickering. Any quick fixes?
Thanks!

On my '89 there is a wire going from + to a bus underneath the battery. If you have that, check there for loose connections or broken bus mount. :Steer

My 85 did the same thing. It went away all by itself (but I'm sure it will come back). My alternator was working OK, the battery was new, it was just strange. I'd sure be interested to know if anyone here has any other ideas. Good luck! :)

86 flicker

I am having the same problem, flickering lights interior and exterior. I also have my antenna going up everytime my interior lights go on. I have found a few corroded connectors but still have both problems. If you find the solution, please email me. I have had it in different electrical shops, no one can find the cause.

Attached to the wiring bundle under the passenger hush panel is the interior light delay board. Either the board had a loose connection to it or it is about to go bad. I do repair these. But basically remove the connector and clean the contact and replace it to see if it was just a loose connection.
Ken has a pic that shows it clearly...ask him and he may provide the pic for you.
