I just inherited this fantastic car from a great old friend of 87 years who spent his last last years in Hawaii. It was shipped to Oregon and I am really loving the thing just after a few days. But my history is pretty much trucks and econo-boxes and I'm struggling to know how to care for this vehicle. First concern of mine is sea salt. Now I know the car has plenty of alloy and fiberglass but surely there is something I should do to clean off any residual deposits from those hard-to-reach areas and at risk metals. I gave it a good washing yesterday and drove it in the infamous Portland rain today. But if someone out there has some words to share regarding my next steps I sure would appreciate it.
Also, it arrived without any owners manual(s). I'm interested in picking up a copy of that too if a source can be shared. From what I can tell from this excellent site is that the car is a basic 1999 4-spd Automatic Coupe. In a stunning Nassau Blue Metalic. Thanks
(PS I never found a site like this for my Honda!)
