Look's to me Edmond it's Magnaflow, It's the same that was on the 95 I just Sold!! Made my Brain rattle Like a BB in a Beer Can!! But I'v got Extra room!!! junk!!

yes even if i like black vettes more, your is nice! is that exhaust louder then flowmasters?? now how many horses is your 1996 got stock? over 300hp right? just wondering how much the horses jumped in 10 years since my 1986 230hp stock.

The Vette has just turned 70,000 well pampered miles, I purchased it from a 70 year old woman who bought the car new. It was her daily driver, and her hip started to hurt so she bought a comfy sedan instead. Well the Vette's going to be used for it's intended purpose now that I own it (that doesn't mean rag it out though). The factor rated the car at 300HP, but it wasn't that for long after I bought it. I have a plan in regards to performance upgrades that Bob and I are putting together.

Already done: Hypertech PPIII (to hold me over for the dyno tune)
Magnaflow Mufflers
Going to to do: Scorpion 1.6 Roller Rockers (pick them up tomorrow from Advanced Auto of Cape Coral)
Hooker LT header, hi-flo cats, and x pipe, O2 sensor sims (being done in 3 weeks)
Lloyd Elliot LE2 heads complete (flows 274 cfm at .600, with a static compression ratio of 11.2 to 1)
Lloyd Elliot LE1 custom ground cam (dur. @ 50 in the 220's, lift with 1.6's around 560, cam matched to the heads)
Cloyes HD timing chain
52mm TB
30 lb. injectors
MSD 6al ignition
Dyno Tune with LT1 Edit
2500 RPM stall
Dana 44 w/ 3.73 gears

My plan is to get into the 11's, if I can't get there with this combo I better learn how to drive! And the list will continue to grow, because Every time I go into Advanced Auto of Cape Coral, Bob has something sitting on the shelf that I want (he's a bad influence!)

remeber that engine is used to a 70 year old women and your going to have to take it slow. i am sure theirs some carbed up oil rings at the tops of the cylinders. but either way thats a sweet vette.

P.S......I had 3.73 gears before they broke(I have no clue why?).....Let me say that wizzing around town was a blast but the gas on the highway was brutal (at the cost of gas now it would hurt even more)
I don't use my Vette much but it if were a daily driver I don't know if I would have changed the gears to 3.73
I also would not have put back the originals if the 3.73 hadn't broke .
