Several of the Corvette catalogs carry a mud guard called an "Altec Fender Guard". I like the looks of these, and am wondering whether anyone had put them on their Corvette? Some of ther catalogs say that drilling is required, and if this is correct how extensive/difficult is this?

Thanks,

I have them on my car. I like them.
You will need to drill a hole in the fender from below to mount them securely. They flow back along the fender so the lower rear edges need some support. Otherwise, they use the same mounting points as the inner fender panels inside the wheel well.
I also found that they may need a little trimming to fit the fender perfectly.
With my ZR1 rear wheels, I have to have something that keeps the road junk from flying all over.

Thank you very much for this help and advice---
