altered floor jack for C5

I've looked for a floor jack that would fit under my C5 but they all start at 5 and a half inches . My car sits about 5 inches high . I bought one at Wally World and spent the afternoon altering it so it would go down to about 4 and one half inches . If anyones interested in doing this , let me know and I'll put together a larger post with diagrams . Cliff

Drive up on a couple of one inch boards and the jack will go right under without a problem.

Yup Yup... Thats what I do.. especially at work when I have to do an oil change on one on the floor.. easiest way to get a little more clearance..
