If you want to try an aluminum radiator at a lower price, I just pulled a Dewitt aluminum BB radiator out of my 1966 roadster after 5 months of service. I replaced it with another, more expensive, aluminum radiator that also allowed me to keep my air horn compressor between the radiator and inner fender.
The radiator is Dewitt's A66m for 66-68 BB cars. It is super clean.
Dewitt sells it for $495. You can buy mine for $350. My 4speed car has factory A-C and the Dewitt radiator maintained the engine temps at 170-180F unless I ran A-C in city traffic on 90-100F days, when then can rise to 190-210F. Even at 104F in South Dakota this summer, the car never puked a drop.
According to Dewitt, the radiator provides 30% more cooling capacity and can handle 550HP engines. After 2 recores on my brass radiator, I switched to aluminum and bagged my brass radiator for future restoration or future owners.
