Amg E420?

My doctor told me today that his Mercedes had 500 HP and could out run my stock '04. Even though his is governed at 155, 0-60 I'd lose. That hurts my psyche. Iprobably would not race someone but I think "stock" keeps the value a couple of thousand over a "modded" model(not that there's anything wrong with that). I guess shucks is the word here. Any comments?
I guess I'll look at some old Cad and Drivers to find out what they found at there testing. He had the car before he started seeing me so I guess I help pay for the insurance.

275 HP is a long way from 500.

The AMG's are hopped up, kind of like the BMW M - Series......doubt it 's close to 500 though....

The AMG E55 has 469 HP / 516ft-lbs toque. It weighs over 4000 pounds. 4.4sec 0-60mph.

No way his E420 will take a C5 or a CTS-V. I'd get a second opinion.
