I have been asked (and accepted) a position as a moderator on ls1tech. I am one of the directors of the Corvette section. I would like to invite fellow members of CAC to visit ls1tech.com if you have not done so before.
I am not posting this to ask you to leave CAC, or to try and steal membership. I simply wanted to make some of you aware of some of the other technical resources avaliable to C5 owners, so that we can facilitate the sharing of information.
Ls1tech is focused on the performance of the Ls1 powerplant, and is not marque specific like this site is. So, cars of all makes equipped with the LS1 powerplant including Corvettes, F-Bodys, Holdens, pickup trucks, and conversions are all welcome.
LS1tech has specific sections for internal and external engine performance. There is a specific section for Corvette related topics, but the section that generates the most posts is internal and external engine. This is what I think would benefit many of the users here.
I know in the past I have cited threads from there on this forum, I just wanted to make some of the membership aware of other non-Corvette specific sites which may assist you with questions you have about performance upgrades to your Corvette.
I have seen many questions posted that have been answered on one forum or another, in many cases being able to reference other forums may provide you with much needed information that can be shared with other performance enthusiasts.
Anyhow, I just wanted to take a second to extend an invitation to stop by.
