About a year ago, there was a discussion about Drum Brake shoes and there was mention of a manufacturer that relined old shoes with some "super" new material. It wasn't ceramic, but was very fade resistant. I need to get new shoes for my 64 and was wondering if anyone remembers the thread. Thanks.

I think this is the one you remember - high-performance conventional brake shoes that won't eat your drums like the old Ceremetallix shoes would:

That site doesn't seem to list brake shoes for 60's Chevy or Corvette, though, the parts listing skips 1963 to 1978 cars.

Give them a call - they don't list everything they have on their site; I know several people who have gotten C1 and '63 shoes from them.
