Officially brought the Vette to the road today. Wow, what a great day. This is why I love the 4 seasons. Always something to look forward to.

Offered the Vette to a buddy to drive today and you know - he loved it.:):):):)

Another buyer in the wings.

Went over to his Buddys place to check out a 10 year restoration project of a 365 hp 64 - all I can say is what a car.

Hey, that's great, me too, mine came out on Saturday to participate in a concours show and it was a blast to be driving it with the top down. By the way our cars look the same, mine is machine silver with black top and interior (although pewter is a sharper color). :beer

I was out and about on Friday (had the day off). TooFast, did you hit the Corvette show at the Corvette Center near Pueblo on Saturday? I wasn't able to make it. :(

Yeah I did Fullback, and my car ended up taking 1st place in the C5 Street Machine class, it was so close they had to do a tiebreaker and I won by half a point. I also did some judging, it was a great day with a bunch of great cars and people.

Spring wake up !

I took my 2003 50th Anniversary coupe to Cape May, NJ so I could run the winters old gas out of her and refill with fresh. I averaged 31.5 MPG on both ways. I don't think my DD 2002 Cavalier does that good. ;LOL

Congrats guys! Living in the Deep South gives me year round driving privileges so I can only imagine the anxiety y'all experience every winter.

Have fun!

Congrats TooFast! :thumb

Glad you won the event at Corvette Center; I had to leave before it was over, stayed until 1 pm. BTW, are you planning on going to CAC CF in Effingham? You could join our small caravan.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make Effingham, but thanks for the invite. Saturday was a good time, are you going to Vettes on the Rockies, I am planning to attend.

What is this driving season you guys talk about? With the exception of a few weeks out of the year, every season is a driving season in southwest Oklahoma. :upthumbs

Buh, surely you're not talking about Lawton! My family is from there. We're Comanches. It okay for driving unless your dodging tornados, hail, red dust and ice storms. :D
