Ok i bought a new antenna from ecklers. I have it mounted and everything but i cant figure out how to wire it. I grounded the black wire form the new antenna then theres a red and blue wire also coming out of the new ant.. I assume that im supposed to hook up the red and blue wired somehow to the 3 wires that were originally conected to the old antenna which are a greenish blue wire, a white wire, and a grey wire.. Can someone help me please?

Obl1vion,

It's time to get the volt meter out!
Since you have a +12V system to drive the motors, one of the 3 wires must be ground. You have already isolated that one on the antenna(black). The other two are antenna up, and antenna down.
Test the original wires to determine which one is ground(probably the Greenish blue one).
Turn off the radio with the ignition switch on. One of the other two wires should have +12V on it to retract the antenna. Connect one of the wires to the "hot" wire and if the antenna is down, it should stay down. If it goes up, try the other wire.
When you turn the radio on, the other wire should read +12V and if connected to the remaining wire, the antenna should go up.
Without a wiring diagram, that is probably the only way to figure it out.
Hope it helps.:w

Pete.

not famaliar with the antenna from ecklers, but i replaced mine with one from wal mart, and the relay is built into antenna, so i by passed the original relay in the console, you might have to do the same. good luck.
