Any suggestions for replacing the antenna on a 67 coupe? I'm looking for a shorter version to fit without getting into complete removal and replacement from below. I've always thought the exceedingly tall antenna ruins the coupe lines. Thanks.

not a particularly good idea.antennas are designed a certain length based on the wavelength of the frequesncies they are desined to pick-up. If you use a shorter antenna is will most likely affect the reception performance of your radio.
The choise is yours, either stay with the correct length antenna for proper reception or go with something smaller for cosmetic purposes and live with less than idea reception.

your other option would be to install a power antenna. that way when you aren't using the radio, such as at a show or cruise the antenna will be mostly down (corvette power antennas for the C2's typically are still about 8"-12" "up" even when fully retracted) and won't be as distrating for you and when you are driving and listening to the radio you won't need to see the antenna in the UP position.
