How can I bypass the anti-theft alarm system ignition interrupt
that prevents the engine from starting. I have just purchased a nose-hit L81 and I can't get the engine to turn over - I suspect it may have something to do with this interrupt. Please help - thanks.

Tom ~ Welcome to the Corvette Action Center Community ~

If someone doesn't come up with a suggestion by the end of the day, I'll try to remember to take a look at my shop manual schematics when I get home tonight and get back here with a suggestion.

Depending upon the relay, either normally open or normally close will determine if you can short the relay out or open circuit the interrupt system.. I wouldn't even want to take a WAG even at a 50/50 chance of being right ;)

Welcome aboard, and Enjoy the Ride!

The theft deterent starter interrup relay is normally closed from # 6 purple wire to #916, purple/white wire. The relay coil power is #965 black/white wire from the deterent module and #916 purple/white. Hope this helps:bu
