Through a mutual friend I ran across a fellow that color sands and polishes at his home. He is a high quality painter by trade, but employed by a custom shop that only allow him to do in-house work. I saw the quality of work he produces and it is awesome. Long story short he has my beloved 87 black roadster at his home. Says it will take him three days and promises I won't recognize the car when he is finished. $300.00

Next come upholstery upgrades and carpets.

I can't wait to see the pics when he's done! :D

What upholstery upgrades are you going to do? I have to redo my interior as well but that won't happen until next year after I done with the other things. This year, I will deal with the things that make the car run. Cosmetics won't happen until next year.

Edmund,

My whole interior is tired looking. It seems when you start a little project it kinda blows up on you. One thing leads to another. I'd like to do seats and door panels first as the budget allows. My door moldings are shot, so thats next-maybe. Like yourself I have to set priorities. Don't get disgusted as progress seems to slow down. I say that but sometimes I think of selling the car, but then again I know what I have.
Good luck and keep the wave.
