While cleaning out all the bins in the Corvette, I found some t top locks, wheel caps and these two rings....anyone recognize where they go or what they might be for?

They look like they are part of the horn assembly..

Well I looked at the parts illustration for the steering column and it doesn't show anything like that. I assume you were saying horn button but I'll look at the actual horns as well. Thanks

hmmm depending upon size and material these rings are made of, here are some WAG's
  • Header collector gasket
  • Tail light gaskets
  • Gas Tank gasket
  • Wheel cap gasket
  • ????

I agree. Check out Ecklers, part no. 44334. Horn contact shims.

They are the horn button spacers, on the steering wheel.

Look Like earings I have seen on some young people.

horn spacers

They look like spacers out of horn assembly, they are not dead flat though,
in my 78 they have a kink in them, and i think they act like some sort of spring.
