I am finally ready to move on to the body of my '61 as I have (pretty much) completed my rolling chassis. I am going to start to chemically strip the body this weekend. I have picked up some tips over the last few months from some of you guys but if anyone has any comments a quick refresher would be appreciated before I begin the strip down. What does everyone recommend first of all for a stripper? Thanks for your suggestions and comments.

I used Captain Lee's on my 65 with a rubber/plastic body filler applicator and a steel drywall mud pan. I neutralized it with alcohol and then water per the directions. I finished up with scotch brite and lacquer thinner. The stripper works well on the paint but not on the primer. Most of the primer was removed with lacquer thinner. It is not a fun or quick job.
