I am on my second set on my car now and I love them. I think they look better and have Noticeably better grip than the BFG's I had. Went through two sets of those too.

Yes. I think they're fantastic. Somewhat larger size, but great tires.

I bought the G/T Qualifiers. The extreme limitation in 15" tire choices caused me to "settle" for these, but I'm not unhappy with their performance. I've tested my completely new VB&P suspension system in hard cornering with them and am suitably impressed.

They are, however, speed-rated (the speed at which a tire is designed to be driven for extended periods of time) "T". That equates to 118mph. I have no intention of travelling beyond 118mph for extended periods of time anymore.

Unless you're moving to the wilds of middle America, you probably won't be either. ;)

I had a set of the GT qualifiers years ago on a cobra-jet Mach 1 mustang and I liked them pretty well. Back then they came wrapped up in checkered paper and made a lasting first impression....I hoped that they haven't degraded the quality any in the new models....I will definatly put them on my list with goodyear gt2 and goodrich TA's.....

I also noticed that you have the VBP dual mount spring and smart strut setup on your rear suspension....I am going to call VBP tomorrow and talk to them about this exact same setup for my 73..How do you like yours????Do you have any tips about ordering or setting up this setup??? Any info. would help a lot
thanx Jerry D.

I just put them on mine this year as well.

They seem fine. Good quiet ride. Good off the line traction.
Acceptable cornering traction for me.

Probably stock suspension is more than they can handle at the limit.
Not autocrossing though, so I'm pleased.

Thanks, I swiped if off some dude in a jeep forum. . . I'm a big terminator fan, so I thought it was pretty cool.

that's weird, i have the exact opposite opinion. when i bought my car it had Dunlops. they squeeled in corners and spun like crazy off the line. installed the BFG Radial TA's and increased cornering and linerar traction. maybe it has something to do with ambient temp since i'm in Alaska. not trying to bash or anything, just relaying a different experience. run what works for you!
