Noticed some wheels on Ebay from a small company in Michigan..Lakeshore Wheel and Tire. $795 for set of Chrome ZR1 or ZO6 wheels. First, does anyone have any info about these guys and the stuff they sell?? Also, is there any reason I can't put 9.5's on the front of my 96????? I want to use the stock size tires. They do sell 8.5's but they are from another manufacturer so matching the 9.5's for the back is an issue. Lastly, if their wheels are 54mm offset, is that close enough to the correct offset of 56mm to be no problem at all?? My goal is to do a switch without any issues. Thanks for any info you have.
Waiting for the thaw here in NY.....

I went from the stock wheels on my '96 LT4 to Chrome ZR1's (9.5's all the way around) w/ no problems. 275/40/17's on 9.5's was the tire/wheel setup for Z51 equipped Vettes for our model years. Cn'V Corvettes in Tempe AZ put the wheels on for me when I bought the car but $795 for a set is a good price from what I've seen.

Should be a simple "issue free" switch. :)

like JFNLSA said, you can go to 9.5's up front, this will put you at the stock Z51 wheel size... you will need the stock Z51 tires though, 275/40/17, or the front tires will look retarded.

Not sure of the quality of those wheels... I know that most aftermarket wheels are much heavier than the GM ones, but if you don't really race, who cares;shrug
