Here's a little something I thought you all might enjoy. It's a 1/24 scale model of my brother's '86 Vette. Lots of modifications and stolen parts from other Corvette kits. Here she is:

Model Kit?

Very cool! Who makes the main kit?
[RICHR]

Yea - me too. I'm a model builder also and would like to know the brand of the main kit you started with.

Very well done.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The main kit is Monogram's '85 Corvette. The wheels, tires, brakes, windshield, sunvisors, and third brake light came from Monogram's '96 Grand Sport, and the boot and shifter came from Monogram's '89 ZR-1. The 4+3 transmission was made from a manual trans from something in the parts box, with a small pan added to the tail of it. Not perfect, but does the job. The mudflaps, exhaust tips, and flat dash were all hand made. The top was removed from the original window unit and stored in the back. Thanks again, and look for a friend's '88 shortly!
