I am considering buying a frame for my 69 off a guy from another forum and i was hoping to find someone close that can have a look at it before i do buy it...it has been blasted and painted so i believe it should be good but i want to be sure before i buy it...

I could take lots of pictures for you, but I wouldn't be able to look at it and tell you whether it was exactly right or not. I have no experience with frames, C3 or otherwise.

Let me know if just photos would be any help.

Boy I missed the boat on that one. I thought you were in Alpharetta.

I could go take a look at it for you. Hard to miss a problem with a bare frame from a rust and structural integrity standpoint. If it is slightly bent that would be another story.

Tammy..thanks for the offer...he sent me some pics and it looks good..i just want to be sure...

Bob...i would appreciate if you could if you are close..i do not want to put you out of your way...when i know more i will let you know...thanks

Give me an address and I'll let you know how far away.

I like your avatar. Mine should say "tuned by Lars via PM". :L

Great guy. We're going to have get him to Atlanta some day.

Maybe a grand opening of Paintdaddy's shop.

I live in Savannah. When and where are we going to meet up?
:L Looks like the SouthEast Contingent will need to plan another Tail of the Dragon or Helen-area run!

Helen sounds good, not sure what tail of the dragon is tho'.Oh as long as we don't have to go to that place where they make those cabbage patch dolls.

I know 1Bad69 personally. Mike's a good guy with a mean-looking C3. Any help offered will be greatly appreciated.

I think you do have to drive through the town where they make them...but you don't have to stop. I never did like dolls, I preferred plastic model horses. :D

Tail of the Dragon is on a highway between the states of Tennessee and North Carolina, just above Georgia. I believe it is 318 curves in 11 miles. Very fun! I was a passenger in a C5 Z06 and did some filming.

Jes a quickie.....

I was back home for New Years a couple months ago...standing in line at the bank.2 transplanted yankees were talking about a little town called "Alfreda"..........

It took a few till I realized they meant"Al-fa-retta"...

Sheesh.

thanks for everyone's offer to help...i found a guy that drives right through Alpharetta and is very knowledgeable about older Vettes...got a great deal on shipping too...just waiting for word that the frame is good to send the cash....:beer
