It’s about a couple guys driving in a parade with a girl sitting up on the back of a red convertible waving at the crowd. The camera pans down to the speedometer and it is teetering between 4 and 5 mph. Then it pans back to the dude in the passenger seat and he is saying "This is just wrong" …I think little imagination went into it.

I think it sounds funny!

Let's hope that the next commercial in the series has the Corvette driver taking a hard left turn out of the parade and punching it...with the parade queen toppling over the back of the vette as it roars down the street for the open road!

The commercial reminds me of driving on the sand of Daytona Beach where the speed limit is 5mph. Just idling in 1st gear was all I could do. That was just wrong in so many ways! LOL;)

Hmmmmm Im surprised that they feel the need to advertise at all. Sales must be way down.

I found it confusing.
Isn't it illegal to ride with 3 people in a Corvette?
Did you sense an ambiguously gay message there? (Not that there’s anything wrong with it.)
Who does this ad appeal to?

A better commercial would have been one man and one woman. The woman is sitting on the car ledge waving in the traditional old-fashioned manor and the man is driving slowly. She says, “This is just wrong”. Then the scene changes to the car driving quickly through a canyon road. Then zoom in and you see that the woman is now driving. At least that would appeal to more potential women customers

How about this for an ad?

;LOL
And don't forget the last scene like you mentioned in another post, with her standing disheveled in the road with her tiara slipping down, dusting herself off and watching the vette zoom away into the sunset.
Now THAT would be a great commercial, Heidi. Much funnier than the real one. Have you considered a career in advertising?

Hi bluecoupe,
So, how much for the "options on the car" in the pic?

No, I just happen to LOVE watching entertaining commercials. I look forward to the Superbowl to see new commercials and the Commercial Awards show, though I've forgotten the name of the Award given for commercials. 5 or so letters in the name of the award. Occasionally there are shows of "Worlds Funniest Commercials" and I love those.

A commercial (if done well) can have a story, a begining, middle and end, and it can also be entertaining. Those are the kinds that grab my attention.

Kenny happens to hate my commercial passion. He's flipping through channels and I yell "Go back! Go back! I want to see that commercial!" and all he wants to do is flip through as many channels as he can!

In reality the next commercial will be her riding down the street with her lawyer riding shotgun, freshly signed divorce papers, the deed to the house and the title to the Corvette. The guy on the side of the road pushing a shopping cart loaded with empty cans saying, “This is just wrong”
