Just wondering if anyone has a c2 with headers? Any significant power gains, and what brands fit best? Are they worth it power wise on my 350hp 327?

thanks, MC

Actually, for a stock 327/350, i'd go with 2.5" ramhorn manifiolds, and either a 2.5" under car system with good mufflers, or 2.5" core pipe side exh (not factory 1 7/8" core pipe).

Big Blocks are a different story.......... factory manifolds cost significant power up top

I agree.

Especially the SHP and HD big blocks.

I had a set of big tupe headers on my 1966 425 car and went back to the factory exchaust manifolds I fealt no difference in performance (mine is a stock motor) what i did find was headers gave a lower motor temp and a higher cabin temp and the stock manifolds were vice fersa.

The only thing I like about headers is the PINGing sound, the heavey breathing of Heavely modified solid lifter motor The kind of feel it in your chest sound.

That I feel are what headers are for

67 Heaven,

I checked out the web site. Will these 2.5" manifolds fit on my heads? They are listed for 62-65 applications. My motor is a 66. If I upgrade to larger pipes, is any kind of tuning expected on the intake side? Also, any guesses as to HP gains with the larger plumbing?

Thanks,

MC
