Hi,

I am new on this site,
Are there any factory corvette spoilers?
I am looking to buy a spoiler to put on my 2003 50th anniversary convertible corvette. I would like to know what you guys think about what kind of spoilers are a good buy.

Thanks,
Todd

I have a 2003 Vert. I have the spoiler that sits flat against the body and just extends the rear of the car. Looks nice.

I know some spoilers affect the aerodynamics of the corvette. Which spoilers would you guys recommend. I am thinking of putting the C5 56" adjustable carbon fiber wing, the picture below.
What do you guys think of the below wing?

"Our new 56" Real Carbon Fiber Wing brings functionality and appearance to the C5R level. Complete with fully adjustable billet mounts and billet endplates with Carbon Fiber insets, our new Adjustable Wing stands approximately 1.5" off the rear fascia. "

Not my cup of tea. Really not my cup of tea. Really, really not my cup of tea. Maybe there is an aftermarket kit where you can get a soup can exhaust with four big tips to go with it. Sorry, just my opinion.

It it ain't a C5-R wing, I'm not interested either.

The nicest spoiler I've seen on a C5 has to be the Caravaggio (SP?) one. It's the same one shown on the orange car. It looks absolutely stunning on a Vette. Although, I somehow like it better on a Coupe than the FRC or the Vert. If I had to do a spoiler on the car, that would be the one. Personally, I'd spend the money on performance mods.

I have to agree that the ONLY spoiler I would consider is the one on the orange car. The rest are over-done. Dave

I would definately go with a performance sticker before the spoiler. But seriously, put a proper exhaust on that car, and at least an air intake before you start to stick things on it. First things first my friend. Oh Yea, don't forget to lower it, very easy. The best appearance mod you can do.

Ditto on the Caravaggio spoiler (the orange car). It is the only "tasteful" one I've seen. The wings are WAY rice. Lowering the car is much cheaper (ie. FREE) and looks better than any spoiler IMHO.
