I have not recieved my manuals yet and and need some help. I believe the cables on the ASR are not adjusted corectly. I assume there is a proper procedure to do this job. Does anyone have the info available so that I can try and adjust them?

Thanks
Ron

I thought the ASR operated in conjuction with the ABS, hydraulics not parking brake. What are your symptoms?

There is a certain way to adjust it. Maybe some one will chime in with a manual. Have you held the pedal down and had someone check to see if your throttle is open all the way?

Well first off if your cruise control is working fine then don't touch it.
Look to see if your throttle body cable is loose .
the adjustment is the black square piece in line on the cable their is a square flip lever you can't see but it is there just streighten it out it is spring loaded with your fingers.Only adjust the cable until the slack is just out of the throttle body cable or you will screw up the trans.
Now if you are wanting to adjust the asr abs unit marked asr you do not have the knowledge even with the book to adjust it and I have never had any problem with mine 94 vette.
The accelerator cable does not adjust like the old style units where you just mash the gas and set carb and the trans at the same time .;)
