Unfortunately, there's one California ZR-1 out there that won't make it! Check out this craigslist ad:

ZR1 (LT5) engine

If my heart hadn't already been broken so many times, seeing this ad would break it again...

Something doesn't seem right to me. Probably some insurance BS. If only the door and the windshield need replaced, why would he be selling the LT5 motor and parting out the rest of the car? ;shrug If it's really just the windshield and the door, I'd fix a 93 ZR-1, cost be damned! :thumb

Isn't there somebody out there who wants to save this ZR-1 by making this guy an offer he can't refuse? :pat

disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with this individual, nor have I contacted this individual. I just happened to see the ad on craigslist.

Sadly this happens more often than. you might think. Some of these cars are worth more parted out.If the damage got into the sill, frame behind the door this car is toast,it had to tweak the car pretty hard to bust the windshield. To give you an idea price wise just for the windshield replacement your looking at between $3000-$4000 for the glass and all associated hardware.

OUCH! :(

In that case: :drink
