I've seen a lot of posts here on how great people have heard the system is, but I can't find any posts by someone who actually owns the setup. Is it worth the $1000? Thanks for the input.

Absolutely. I have driven a few C3's before and after installation of Steeroids, and the change is dramatic. Most consider it their best modification by far. The only complaints I've heard about seem to stem from installation of the u-joints in the steering linkage from the column to the R&P unit causing binding. This is easily fixed with some adjustment of the column position. Take the plunge, you won't regret it. Right now there is a group purchase on corvetteforum.com that will save you some money.

Thanks for the group purchase infor. Will save me about $150. I talked to the guys at work today and they agree that an upgrade would probably be worth it too. Guess I need to place another car order!

Yes, the change is well worth it, second to tires, i'ts the biggest single thing I did to my car to improve handling....and my front end was brand new....

highly recommended, ....

now having said that, I did my own conversion about 3 years ago about the time Steeroids was testing their solution...and so made my own setup from junkyard parts, input linkage, rack, the like....cost me about 200 bux to do it, but a LOT of work....over winter, so not so bad.....
