we are about 250 miles into the shake down phase after engine/700r4 swap. so far the only issue is that the torque converter should be a looser one....
ok need some thoughts heres....on a drive today at lunch time the Mrs and I go around a circle intersection and stay to the right , i step on the gas exiting the circle and nothing happens, seems like to me the car has stalled and i start looking for a bailout place...just then the car resumes on its own power and accelerates and everything is fine....my wifes impression was that the car stalled....OK, if it did stall how did it restart? i didn't think automatics could do that?
Just before entering the circle i put it in 3rd gear because i thought i was having a problem going around exit ramp clover leafs in 4th gear and perhaps the OD was staying locked up.. (i would sense a momentary lag when i stepped on the gas).. could the fuel be sloshing to one side of my Speed demon causing a momentary fuel starvation problem? i have it set to the lowest rib inthe sight glass?
any thoughts?????
