For those of you who have auto lifts in your garage - did you contact your homeowners carrier to determine whether there are any insurance issues or any special riders or other special policy considerations?

it should be covered under your homeowners insurance but its a better idea just to call and ask. (thats my wifes advice, who is an insurance agent)
