Ive got a 85 w'aux fan....I have a hyperchip in it and 160 theremostat so i've never seen it come on since it usually doesn'tgo over 200 in s fl traffic. is there a way to test it to see if it works at all?

I see that you can buy a switch that will turn it on with the main fan but I'd like to know if it even works...

also, it cranks for awhile when cold...when it starts, a check engine lite comes on..if I restart immediately, the light goes out and car starts in a mili second the rest of the day...with the hyperchipl,,,I don't think I can read any ccodes.....car runs/idles fine after cold start...put in a new IAC... this car has 100.000 mile and I want to restore it to it's former glory...don't mind changing parts that may get tired after so many miles...are there any pumps /sensors/relays that have been a problem onthis car???

I have the same issue with fans and cold start after it sits. It will be interesting to see responses here.

trouble shooting, jumping a and b on the aldl only turned the main fan on.... i installed a two position fan switch in the dash and doing this required me to unplug both relays....after splicing and reconnecting the relays, both fans came on.....or 1 depending on positon of the switch....must of had poor contact in the relay.... the other problem turned out to be the fuel pump....tuned back to factory specs with the fsm....starts in a milisecond.....stays 175-180 in traffic in s florida....so far so good with the project
