Can anyone tell me of they have tried the Yokohama AVS Sport Run Flats. I am trying to choose between the Goodyear EMT (Original Tires) or the AVS. Its for a 2001 C5. They cost the same so there is no significant issue there, want to know what handles the best and will last longer. Any comments or recommendations will be appreciated. Want to continue with the runs flats. Less worries. Thanks

I've had quite a few C5 owners tell me that the Yokohama runflat is a world ahead of the Goodyear runflats.

I'd tend to believe them. GM had given goodyear a very strict and pretty much unreasonable set of requirements which they have since changed for the xlr and the C6..

The goodyear runflats are outdated and outclassed.

IMO no question in my mind I'd choose the Yokohamma runflat.

Much smoother ride..quieter and better handling..(according to the feedback from the guys who have had both)
