I agree with Joe Diver. When I was in the market for a new exhaust system I spent quite a bit of time doing research. I was resolved on buying a Corsa system, but did not want to purchase it until I had a chance to go to a show and listen to several of the exhaust systems on other people's cars. Most people were very friendly and would start the cars up for me so I could listen to the systems. I also got to see first hand the way the installations looked and the fit and finish of the products. The Corsa's sounded good, but when I heard a set of Borla stingers I was hooked. I like the deep, throaty, muscle car sound and that is what I wanted on my Vette. I ended up purchasing a set of 4 tip, oval, stingers and have not regretted my purchase for a second. I also made sure to install an X pipe to even out the sound. At first the sound was a little loud, but after a few days of usage, the pipes became "seasoned" and the sound was just what I was looking for. I have no resonance, the sound is mellow at cruising speed, but hit the gas and the pipes come to life. It is all a matter of preferance, so make sure you take the time to listen to the various systems, as well as, look around at this site for the various threads on this same subject. The information is great. Hope you get the sound you are hoping for... I did, and it is hard for me not to crack a smile every time I start the engine!
Good Luck!
