I just installed a B&M Ripper shifter in my Vette. I can't believe how short the throws are compared to the stock shifter. This isn't for everyone, but if you are into auto-crossing or performance driving you have got to get one of these. I topped it off with a chameleon shift knob. I think it looks cool.

Do you notice more noise or rattles from the B&M?

Normal daily driving there is no noise at all. I do notice a little chatter at full throttle, however I don't find it bothersome.

Hey, I just installed a B & M Ripper Wednesday afternoon. It took about 45 minutes. I expected shorter throws but , MAN. This thing is awesome. I'm loving this. No noise or rattle to be heard. I can even see my temp. controls now.
Now I just have to get a new shift knob.

I have the "ripper" in my TKO equiped 76 and it is like night and day compared to the stock shifter, when I buy another newer Vette, the ripper will be on top of the list of Mods
