stopped by the shop today and was told Baby will be getting her new primer tomorrow!! it's been a long process since I dropped her off in the beginning of Sept but I can finally start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Today he was "nitpicking" the car and doing the last of the sanding of the new fiberglass work and skim coat. This afternoon he was planning on spraying the sealer on than letting it set up overnight before priming tomorrow.
Once the sealer and primer is on he will "nitpick" the car again as the sealer and primer will help to show any minor flaws he may have missed and if needed work on those areas.
Once the primer is on, the doors come off again so he can cut in the base color into the door jambs and other areas on the car that need to get cut in. Also, while the doors are off he will paint the interior side of the doors and before reinstalling them again to finally go over the whole exterior with base color, wetsanding, more base, more wetsanding, clear coats and more wetsanding.
By the end of the week he plans on starting the cutting in.
My wife and I leave on a one week cruise Sat morning. By the time we return on the 12th the car should be all painted and time for reassembly!
I'm starting to get pretty excited!!
Here are more pics from today. The car was pretty dusty from all the sanding but you can see the redone gaps and everything else done on the body so far.
