Pix tomorrow but the short version is that I'm tired of waiting for my window regulator --ordered in May!-- and I put my car back together this afternoon! My son and I are out and about and I'm making a list of what needs fixed as we drive. I missed this car.

Was a good day for a cruze, had my 40th out for a spin this AM. I have the outer window weather strip on the driverside to do,just haven't had the time.Shell station I usually gas up at switched over to Gulf.

Anyone who's ever had to travel from Bowie to Laurel, MD is familiar with route 197 and can tell that it's a nice curvy stretch of two lane road that runs through wooded federal lands on either side. The catch is that there is usually someone poking along at 35 or less and even if you get a clear shot into the woods, you'll catch up to them...

Yesterday on my way to work, I got fed up on my way out of Bowie and tromped on the gas to go around three slower drivers as the lanes went from 4 to 2. Only to catch up to someone doing 25 within a mile.... Typical. Slowed down and listened to my music for the rest of the trip.

On the way back, however, I caught the red light coming out of Laurel, beat the cute little thing beside me to the single lane.... And got to drive the entire stretch at between 50 and 80. Didn't see another car until I hit the 4 lane. S Sweet!

Grew up in that area, used to be a lot of fun roads back in the day (60s/70s)
