I have an 85 Vette I bought this spring. Ever since I got it if you leave it for more then a couple days you come back to a dead battery. Finally traced the problem to the headlight motor circuit. With a little bit of searching and head scratching I have discovered that this car has the 2 wire headlight motors, a later single relay, and of course 85 wiring for the 3 wire motors. Somebody jury rigged it and it drains the battery. I have a 3 relay set from an 84 that I tried hooking up but can't seem to make it work. Anybody got any help for me? Everything works as it should except it has a current draw and drains the battery which gets to be a real downer!
Thanks if you can help

Hi there,I also have an 85 and we found at Ecklers a negative battery disconect attachment which assembles easily. For the time being I have to open the hood to screw the bolt in , but as an added incentive you look at the L98 and with the bolt in absence the thieves cannot hot wire the corvette!
