Battery Gauge

Battery Gauge needle on my 69 really jumps all over the place when the engine is running. Charging system and battery work fine otherwise, just a wildly fluctuating gauge needle.

Any ideas........guage itself I imagine.

hello, i suspect a loose wire on the gauge or a bare wire jumping around when the engine is running.
