I came to a stop and then a quick left turn and I think my battery moved around in the compartment. It is new, but there isn't any clamp hardware. If there was it has been gone a long time. I wonder if I could just put a non-flammable insulation wedged in the bottom corners to keep it from moving. It doesn't have a lot of room to move. How are your batteries held down? I saw some clamps in some catalogs but I don't know if the battery designs these days have a place for these clamps to attach to. I suppose I could bungee it to some holes in the floor, but I don't want to bubba it too much. Opinions?

there should be a place on the floor in that area for a hold down..it is the type that holds it on the bottom of the battery and bolts thru the floor..

bills right and you can find a battery hold down kit at most online venders.

The hold down looks like a cleat that hooks onto the bottom of the battery. A bolt goes through the hold down and screws into a hole at the bottom of the compartment.
