With the winter storage season rapidly approaching, or maybe you've already put your collectibles away, I thought I'd share this info regarding Battery Tenders. You've seen them upwards of $45 at parts stores and dealer web sites.

Thought I'd save everyone a lot of money with this information.
Arizone Motorsports Group is selling the Battery Tender for $19.95 each, plus shipping of course. But if you purchase in quantity for all your cars you'll save some $$$.

I've used one with good results for 2 - 3 month standowns. Last time however, I hooked mine up before having surgery and when I was able to get back into the Vette three months later, it was almost dead, YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THE EXTENSION CORD IS PLUGGED IN! Luckily, I had enough poop in the battery that I didn't loose memory and a quick charge brought everthing back to life. Oh, I wasn't like "ED" in the TV commercial, I used Stabil in the gas and it started right up. ;LOL

I have three of them right now. One on the Vette, one on the Charger, and one on the Yamaha. Like the saying goes "dont leave home without it". I have the smaller $19.95 ones on the Vette and bike. The Charger has the bigger more expensive one. I really dont know why you would need the bigger one. The smaller ones work just fine. And yes they all came form Arizona MS. Cant beat the prices.

OH, I just purchased the the third one recently and picked one up for my brother-in-law for his 75. Under $20, makes great Xmas presents too.

Thanks, guys for the posts. I got one and installed it in my car, from NAPA for about 20 bucks. I used your info to buy smartly.
