1980 turbo L-82
My 1980 Turbo Prototype L82 is going to the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky from California. I have shipped this car on a short haul to Monterey with Reliable Carriers, but the car arrived greasy and dirty, maybe due to the carriers exhaust blowing through the trailer (it was enclosed of course). Reliable told me the trailers are not weatherproof.

Can anyone please recommend a transport company that they trust. The museum will clean a car upon arrival, but not detail it. It will load on the trailer in pristine condition, so I hope it will arrive in the same condition. Is this wishful thinking?

Thank you, Mark

I highly recommend Intercity Lines. We use them as often as we can to ship cars from the East Coast to its final destination. We know that our cars will arrive in the same condition as when they were picked up here. I am not sure of their routes, but you could call them at 1-800-221-3936 or check their site at www.intercitylines.com.

Tell them Elaine from Corvette Mike's referred you.

Good luck...

Elaine

I'll throw my $.02 in with Elaine :dance

I had our 2003 Shipped from New Hampshire to Amarillo, Texas with Intercity Transport. The husband and wife team were awesome and made the delivery an event, plus our 03 came off the transport just like came off the show room floor.. :thumb
