I'm back, and it was well worth the trip
Well , I am now the proud owner of a 1967 Big Block coupe.
The negotiations were very "short & sweet" and within the hour, he had accepted my offer, and a personal check to cover the cost of the purchase.
Here are a few pics, and links to a couple of quick video's that I shot as we drove home. This is my first attempt at having videos hosted other than on my own server, so I don't know how well it will work out. Not for dial-up, nor the faint of heart.
This is the first glimpse of the car as was seen, when the garage door at the sellers was opened wide.
This is the first ever stop, that was made with my new ride on the drive home
This shot was taken at a rest area where we stopped to empty our bladders
This is the view, out of the window, that I endured during the three hour rain storm ( traffic in Montreal was a killer ) on the drive home

Now for the question period
Bob, I will drive the shÎt out of both of the cars. No-where is it written, that one must only use a single Corvette, for the Summer cruising season.
Barry, Thanks for your encouraging words, it did work out, and more pics will be coming
Paul, Well it looks as though we have more in common, then just living on this side of the border.
Ray, Thank you, it sure worked out fine.
Brian, I fun Summer car it will surely be, however I had forgotten that a big block is a beast to drive. My roadster is rather civilized, so I had gotten used to having a touchy ride:duh
Gator, not much in the way of options. Looks as though it was purchased as a " go-fast " Corvette. The only comfort item I was able to find, was the drivers seat, and nothing else. :ugh
Thanks again to all of you for your kind and encouraging words. This has been a big day for me, ( up at 5:05 Am ) so I will not be hanging around here much longer for to-day.
Regards
Stepinwolf
