Hi!
My '01 coupes brake fluid is getting quite black. I want to change out the fluid, but at the same time do the following:
1) instal new SS braided hoses
2) upgrade to a better fluid that does not absorb as much moisture.

My questions are:
1) Recommendations for better fluid?
2) Are there any special considerations that need to be made for the ABS/Traction control system??

Thank you very much!!
Dave

With the help of one of my pals, I just flushed out my "brownish" colored brake fluid :puke with Valvoline Dot3/Dot4 fully synthetic fluid today. It was fairly easy and is supposed to be fully compatable with the OEM fluid. Just take care not to run the MC dry. If your brake fluid is as dirty as mine was, you'll probably notice that MC reservoir is stained, even with clean fluid in it. Good luck.
