We have 2 reservoirs on our master cylinders. I'm assuming that the one closer to the front is for the front brakes and the one closer to the booster is for the rear brakes?

That being said, if I didn't take the caliper off the rear brakes, I don't have to bleed the rear brakes, right? I took the calipers off my front and that's all I would have to bleed, right?

Yes to all your questions...but why wouldn’t you want to bleed the rears and change the fluid while you are there...Moisture condensates in the brake reservoirs.

Jon,

The bleed valve is very tight. The 10mm size is the size for it but the valve just won't turn and I don't want to do it unless I really have to. Any suggestions for loosening up the valve?

6 point deep socket and tap the handle with a hammer....babbit hammer works best....but any hammer will do...tap lightly

The problem is that the edges start to round off on the valve. Can I use liquid wrench?

I tend to agree, as long as you're bleeding the lines, you might as well do 'em all. I see some Corvettes, especially on ebay, where the brake fluid is black, which leads me to believe that not a lot of people believe in regular bleeding. I do mine once a year, and my brake fluid is always clear.
