Body weight of a C3?

Any help? Fixing to lift the body off the frame. Can anyone tell me the weight specifications of a 71 body complete? Need to make sure my hoist can handle it. Thanks

Better try a little higher than half a ton. Curb weight for an '81 is just under 3300, and I'm thinking the frame-wheels-drivetrain don't weigh 2300 lbs. I could be wrong, but use good judgement with something that valuable!!
