I drove over a metal plate that was suposed to protect cars from damage, and when I did it buckled up and whacked the bottom of my car, cracked the bottom of the fender and gouged the bottom of the rocker panel. The damage is very low and almost not noticable, except you can see at the bottom of the fender a bowing out because it's just hanging on by a 3/8 hunk of plastic. The gouge on the rocker has all the the paint scraped off and fibers of the plastic hanging out.

Can a body shop mend these parts some how or does the whole fender have to be replaced?

HI there,
Most plastics can be repaired, depending on damage severity.
I would have the piece inspected and any reliable body shop should be able to guide you in the right direction.

Which one would you buy?

Thanks Paul,

Once the college education is covered for your daughter, what Corvette will you buy? After I stroked my last check for my daughter I went hunting for C5's. I absolutely love them!
