bondo in bumper covers?

I spoke to a guy who was giving me an estimate on spraying my front bumper. he said that my car had been in a collision. He could tell by the bondo in the front bumper. I told him I had urethane bumper covers and he said there was a special bondo for urethane too. Is this true?

Yes

There is a very flexible filler designed for repair of bumper covers. There is also products to "weld" cuts and tears in them. Many bumper covers are available reconditioned from your local bumper exchange that supplys rechromed bumpers to body shops.
