Brake Caliper

I have a 72, and drivers rear side brake caliper is leaking. Dr Vette has this 45 degree parting line O-ring design, and goes on to say it has 4 sealing surfaces compared to convention o-ring design that has 2 sealing surfaces. The one leaking is about 5 or 6 years old with ss sleeved o-ring, any one know about the 45 degree design? Would like to rebuild myself but never have done this before, and don't know the cost savings. Thanks for any advice, Bob.

I have no knowledge of the 45 degree thing. Call Dr. Vette and ask what they mean.
