my '93 has an off and on again brake fluid leak from somewhere around the master cylinder ever since i had the front rotors off for resurfacing. i did the r and r myself and i know i pressed the brake pads further back in the calipers than necessary. i have the bled the entire system (until clean fluid came out of all the bleeders) including the abs "module". i suspect that dirt/rust ocassionally gets stuck in a valve somewhere. can anyone suggest a remedy?????

Hi there,
I would suggest 2 forms of action here.
First, replace the reservoir cap.
Second, remove the 2 nuts holding the master cylinder to the booster.
Look behind it, and see if there is any residue behind the master cylinder, specifically where the pushrod contacts the master cylinder.
Let us know what you have, and we can proceed.
Allthebest, c4c5:hb
