Hi
My 1992 C4 has a new issue. I drove the car two days ago and it ran great. This afternoon I went to start it and the motor just cranked over but would not start. I tried for about 10 minutes and when I released the key I occasionally could hear a misfire. I let it sit for about two hours and tried again and after about 3 minutes of the same it began to start and stall then started and continued to run. I let it run for about 10 minutes and then went to take it for a drive. The car ran perfect and I can shut it off and restart it without a problem but now the brake pedal is rock hard. I had a new brake booster installed in 8 months ago and I checked the brake check valve and there is good vacuum when I put my finger over the 3/8" hose going to the booster. I can't think of a connection between the not starting issue and the brake pedal being rock hard but it was fine until it eventually started. Any thoughts on what this could be?
