The left turn/brake signal on my 75 will only light up one filiament when braking or using the turn signal, but when the headlights are on both filaments stay lit (like normal braking). I have cleaned the contacts, changed the bulbs. Where else should I be looking? Thanks.

Don,
Thanks for the reply. The right side works completely as it should, with correct lighting at all times.

Did you ever slove you problem? My 76 has lost power the left side turn signal all other lights work, problems might be related so I was wondering.

Turns out my problem is intermintent, it now works fine. It must be the turn signal switch and when the wheel moves it starts to work. I am going to refurbish the steering wheel soon so I guess I will replace the switch then.

Not sure of your problem but most of these lighting problems with our old vettes usually end up being a ground problem. Trace and clean all ground wires and their connectors.
good luck.
